I purchased this wooden train set for my son because the price was a bargain. The Thomas & Friends wooden trains usually cost an average of $12.00 per train. I just had to get these because my son loves playing with his Thomas trains. He gets great use out of these trains. Not only are these great toys to play around the house, but they are also great for long airplane flights, long car rides, and eating out. All I have to do is whip out these trains and he is a happy camper!

Thomas wooden train items we recalled but these were not one of them. We had all our trains tested just to be sure. The wooden trains have the most items for little one to imagine with. They have everything but can cost the most also out of every other toys besides legos. My kids have all the wooden thomas and still play with and they are now 6 & 7. Not a daily play with but they do go back to them from time to time which is great. Would buy again!

My son loves to take one or two with him everywhere we go. He plays with them on the track, or makes his own make believe tracks. It is fun to watch him get stuck in a rut, or get covered with mud and say, “Oh bother. Sir Topham Hatt will be very cross.” We’ve had these for over a year, and not one of them have lost wheels, or suffer any other damage, and they are perfect size for little hands, but easy enough for me to pick up with him every night.

This gift set is really nice. Five cars, including Henrietta, provide lots of entertainment. Getting five cars when this item is on sale at Amazon is great as well. The little picture cards that came with the gift pack were somewhat useless to my toddler, but older collectors might find them interesting. I would buy this again.
