I bought this set for my daughter’s 3rd birthday! It was her favorite gift and now (4 months later) she still plays with it everyday! She loves it so much. Now she wants the other trains to go with it, and she wants to expand Thomas’ world by getting a few more pieces. She uses her imagination while playing with the set, I hear her making the engines talk and she takes them on real adventures. She has even learnt how to set it up by herself, it’s easy and it makes the kids think- like a puzzle. She loves taking the train to the water tower for a wash or a refill. The possibilities for imaginative play are endless with this set. It’s also small, so it doesn’t take up a lot of room, and we clean up in two minutes! I even use this set for disciplinary purposes, for example, if you finish your dinner you get to play with your train set- works every time! It’s a lot of fun watching her enjoy herself so much! I am so very happy with my purchase.

I love this train set and so does my son..

It is very well made and has many additions to add for future expansion.

He plays on it most of the day and it will be a toy to last for years to come.

I’m glad we got this one and we intend to buy the extention to it and much more in the future.

Of the 400 gifts my two year old nephew got, this one didn’t get anymore attention then the rest. He spent more time playing with the packaging than my toy. Why do we feel a need to purchase these material items for such young children? Anyway, after a few days this and the rest of the Thomas gifts became his clear favorite! And it warmed my heart. Which may explain why we do continue to buy these toys.
